Job Search Skills
Been out of Work for Some Time? We’re Here to Help
If you have been unemployed for a while we understand that you might feel a bit rusty. That you might doubt that you have the skills necessary to find and keep a job. If that sounds like you then you might benefit from Jobfind’s Job Search Skills program. This program will help you build confidence, gain job-searching skills and give you a better chance of finding, getting and keeping work.
For People with Computer and Internet Access
One of the best things about this program is that you can do the course and assess your own progress through an online program. There are 5 different courses you can take advantage of to build job-searching skills, gain confidence and prepare for the current jobs market. You can complete these at a Jobfind Centre or from anywhere you want – as long as you have a computer with internet access.
Don’t Have Computer Access?
Not a problem - you can undertake a series of exercises at any of our Centres that introduces you to topics such as goal setting, time management, resume preparation and networking skills. And, you’re able to complete the different courses in your own time so that you get the greatest benefit from the work.
By Your Side, All the Time
Whether you have access to a computer or not, all Job Search Skills participants get to take part in 10 hours of face-to-face mentoring. Known as the ‘Coffee Club’, you will work with a qualified and friendly Jobfind Consultant to review your new skills and put your training into action in the pursuit of a job.
