17 May 2011 – Jobfind Centre Lismore hosted an overwhelmingly successful Biggest Morning Tea today, raising much needed funds for the Cancer Council.

Over 100 Lismore locals attended Jobfind Centre’s Mad-Hatter themed Biggest Morning Tea today, raising much needed funds for cancer research, education, prevention and support. With Cancer affecting one in two Australians by the age of 85, Jobfind is proud to have supported this very worthwhile cause.

Hosted by the employment consultants at Jobfind Centre Lismore as part of the Cancer Council's Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, the team raised over $1300 including a $250 donation from local training provider, NovaSkill.

The event was also generously supported by a number of other local businesses who donated their time, skills and goods to make the day a great success. Local barista Nick Muller from Republic of Coffee delighted the crowd with the best coffee in town, while Koala Tea Company and Byron Bay Cookie Company contributed a range of delicious teas and scrumptious bikkies.

And with lucky door prizes drawn every half hour and two raffles drawn at midday, many visitors walked away with much more than just a cuppa! One local, Bob McLelland, won a Business Coaching session with Doust Consulting, while another man, Gary, won a weekend getaway at Bay Haven Lodge Byron Bay, courtesy of Electroguard.
