29 July 2011 - Jobfind Centres Australia held its annual National Managers Conference last week, bringing together staff from around the country to celebrate a year of record success for the company.
Centre Managers from all corners of Australia descended upon Sydney’s Sheraton on the Park hotel last week for the 2011 Jobfind Centre National Managers Conference.
Held over three days, the event’s theme of ‘A Celebration of Success’ gave Jobfind staff the opportunity to come together and reflect on the company’s collective achievements of the past year, while sharing a number of great ideas and strategies employed in Centres around the country that contributed to this success.
In addition to presentations from key business units, motivational speakers, group discussions and informal networking, the Conference was structured to include fourteen ‘Success Me’ sessions conducted by Jobfind Centre Managers. Each Manager spoke to the group on initiatives that they and their teams have used locally to help people from many different walks of life, and with many different barriers to employment, to find and remain in sustainable and fulfilling jobs.
Also introduced at the Conference was Jobfind’s new online learning initiative, You Can Work, designed to help job seekers who suffer from minor mental health issues to overcome perceived barriers to work.
State and National representatives from the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) also attended the conference. Presenting to the group, they congratulated the Jobfind team on its success and provided a number of insights and advice on how to further this success in the new financial year.

A successful bunch: Staff at the Jobfind Centres Australia National Managers Conference 2011
