Indigenous Opportunities

At Jobfind we take great pride in servicing the Indigenous communities around Australia including many remote regions in Cape York and in the Northern Territory. Around 20% of our clients are Indigenous and we are passionate about providing high-quality training and employment services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Indigenous Consultants and Mentors

Jobfind has Consultants and Mentors who work in the community and can help you find the training and jobs that are right for you. We’ll also help you with other things like improving your reading and writing skills, helping you get a driver’s license or teaching you computer skills.

Budda-Jitja

Budda-Jitja is the first pre-employment program in Australia designed by Indigenous people for Indigenous people. There are 14 modules focusing on the real, practical skills you need to enter the workforce.

Indigenous Employment Projects (IEP)

Our IEPs are run all over Australia to give people training and then place them in a specific industry. Past IEP projects have seen Indigenous people placed into jobs in the maritime, automotive, mining and beauty industries.

Community Development Employment Projects (CDEP)

Jobfind successfully manages CDEP in Hope Vale, Lockhart River, Pormpuraaw and Wadeye. We develop projects that benefit the community while helping people increase their skills and employment opportunities.
