Jobfind Expands into South Australia

After 12 years of building a highly-respected and successful employment services business, well-known Mount Gambier identities Jim and Andrea Pegler are now moving onto new business ventures. The business, that currently places more than 50 jobseekers with local employers every month, will continue to service the SE regions of South Australia under the ownership of Jobfind Centres Australia.

“We’re ready to now develop further business interests”, says Mrs Pegler, “although we’ve made sure that our achievements within the industry remain. We want our vision and commitment to continue long-term, which is why we are delighted to announce that Jobfind Centres Australia has bought the business.”

Mr Pegler says enthusiastically, “Jobfind speaks the same language as we do and they’re committed to the same core values we had – offering friendly, professional and responsive services. All the staff will be retained and will continue operating from the same site at 16 Crouch St South, Mt Gambier under the Jobfind banner.”

Jobfind Centres Australia, part of the Angus Knight group of companies, is a foundation member of the privatised Job Network that was created in 1998 to replace the old Commonwealth Employment Services (CES) and they currently service 59 locations through 28 Centres across Australia with over 300 employees.

Angus Knight has successful online learning and training companies that complement Jobfind’s services such as the provision of pre-employment assistance, job-matching, job placement, labour market information and workforce-preparation coaching and training for individual job seekers as well as recruitment services to employers.
